A competitive game played through an AI agent, two formats to run it in, and six things every participant walks away with.
Everyone owns restaurants that feed the island's towns and desalination plants that water them. Fed towns grow, watered land grows trees, and the greenest player wins. The profitable move and the winning move pull apart, which is what makes it a real strategy game. It is simple to explain and hard to master, and it is played through an AI agent, which is the point.
Each participant directs their own AI agent that reads the live game and acts on their behalf: it buys, plants, waters, and sometimes gets a flat no. It is the same kind of agent they will meet at work, playing for keeps.
It is a game with a scoreboard and one winner. Five very different strategies can win, so nobody gets ahead by copying their neighbour, and nobody checks their phone.
In moddable mode the built-in interface disappears and each person’s agent builds the panels they describe, live. People who have never written a line of code walk out having built a tool. It is the moment the room lights up.
The questions that turn a great afternoon into a lesson are written, tested, and waiting for the facilitator. You bring the room. We bring the structure.
Pick the one that fits your calendar. The game, the agents, and the debrief are the same in both.
Half a day to a full day, on site
Everyone in one room, playing all day. Rounds of play, scoreboards in between, and a debrief that closes the day. The format for offsites, class days, and team events.
Three two-hour check-ins over a few days
A setup session, a mid-game check-in with a lesson, and a closing session with the winners. Between check-ins people play from home whenever they like.
Each person briefs their own agent, which reads the live game and takes real actions on their behalf. The gap between what you asked for and what it did is the fastest AI lesson there is, and it lands in about ninety seconds.
The agent buys, plants, and waters with typed arguments, and sometimes hits a flat no: no money, illegal spot, no game selected. “AI can use tools” stops being a phrase and becomes something they saw happen.
The agent can see everything and will still suggest a move that loses, because it optimised exactly what it was told to. The scoreboard settles it every game-day, and everyone leaves better at spotting confident-but-wrong.
In moddable mode the built-in interface disappears and each person’s agent writes the panels they ask for, live. People who have never written a line of code ship working software, and it is the moment the room lights up.
They can hand a written policy to the server and walk away while it keeps playing. Deciding what to delegate, and seeing how it goes, is the exact judgement call your people are about to face at work.
Five very different strategies all win, so nobody gets ahead by copying their neighbour. The conversation afterwards is where a good session becomes a lesson people quote back to you a month later.
